Fundraising

***What this space for news about the Christmas fair in December....  ***
We are already taking donations for soft toys for the Tombola.

We depend on the committee and parents/carers to support us in our fundraising efforts.  Without fundraising, we cannot have special events or buy new equipment, so we organise a number of events throughout the year.  These include:

Christmas Cards
Christmas Fair & Raffle
Cake/Bun Sales
Easter Egg Decorating Competition
Spring Fair
Sponsored Pea Hunt

We really welcome new ideas for fundraising, and would love to hear from any parents/carers who want to get involved.

Results of fundraising events from the Summer term:

Plant and Cake Sale

On July the 5th, we held a plant and cake sale in the school hall to raise funds for Pre-School. We made a grand total of £111.60! Many thanks to Marlene (Armand’s mum) for her brilliant idea of having a sale, and for nurturing lots of seedlings that enabled us to have many lovely plants to sell. Thank you also to everyone who made and donated cakes, and for coming along to help support a successful event.

The Great Pea Hunt - Sponsored event

Many thanks to all those who have sponsored the children in the Great Pea Hunt. They have been absolutely fantastic in spotting the peas and so have the staff in counting them all! The final amount raised is as yet unknown, so watch the noticeboard for updates and remember to bring any sponsor money in by the end of term!

Car Boot Fundraising
Over the Summer Laura Chadwick (Parent, Committee member - Emily's Mum) raised funds through a number of car boot sales to raise some funds for the pre-school.

Grand total to be announced in the this terms newsletter - out October 2017.
